Origin Music exists in the space between worship and nightlife— creating room for spiritual music to be experienced socially, without doctrine or commercial compromise.
Music began as something participatory and spiritual. Communities gathered, voices joined, spirits lifted. It wasn't performance—it was connection. It wasn't entertainment—it was transcendence.
Somewhere along the way, we became audiences instead of participants. Consumers instead of creators. Spectators instead of singers.
Spiritual music, in particular, lost its social home. If you want to sing meaningful songs with others, your options are limited: attend a religious service (with all its doctrinal requirements) or go to secular venues where the music rarely touches anything deeper.
We partner with premium venues on their quietest nights, transforming empty Monday spaces into rooms of shared transcendence. You choose a song that means something to you. Live musicians back you up. The community holds space. Something happens that's hard to describe but impossible to forget.
We welcome people of all beliefs—and no beliefs. What matters isn't what you believe, but how you hold it. Can you make space for others to have their own experience? Can you participate without needing to convert or convince?
We welcome all beliefs. We don't welcome hostility.
Origin Sessions are spaces of shared vulnerability. To protect that, we ask everyone to honor these principles. They're not about exclusion— they're about creating safety for genuine experience.
The mystery—not everything needs explanation
Preaching or proselytizing any worldview
All sincere paths to transcendence
Mockery of others' spiritual experiences
Listening more than speaking
Debate-trapping or theological gotchas
Holding our certainty lightly
Hostility disguised as skepticism or faith
We're here to experience, not to convince.
Origin Music is structured to protect its mission from commercial pressure or individual ego. We cannot "sell out" because there is no commercial entity to sell.
Revenue Flow: Ticket sales → Operational costs → Fair artist compensation → Surplus to foundation. No extraction. No profit motive. Sustainable mission.
Transparency Commitment: Annual public reporting, clear accounting separation, foundation oversight of mission alignment.
Origin Music exists to support artists, not extract from them. We prioritize musicians from underrepresented communities—particularly Filipino diaspora artists—and ensure fair compensation for all who contribute.
Every musician receives fair compensation. No "exposure" as payment. No exploitation of passion.
We actively seek artists from marginalized communities, especially Filipino musicians in Hong Kong.
Artists retain rights to their work. Origin provides platform and support, not ownership.
Join us on Monday nights. Sing something meaningful. Experience the third place for yourself.
